Jauron Era Over in Buffalo, Uncertainty Begins

November 19th, 2009 by Danny Firth No comments

Dick JauronThe Buffalo Bills are in football wagering turmoil and any shot this squad might have had at an AFC crown has long since passed. Head Coach Dick Jauron’s recent firing wasn’t unexpected, but it will accomplish little and could even make things worse for this beleaguered franchise that just can’t seem to get anything going on offense.

Jauron was a bit of an unexpected hire to begin with, but it seemed as if the front office had faith in his ability to lead this team in the football wagering competition and the continuity he and his staff brought into the season was seen as a plus. Read more…

Carolina is Showing Vital Signs

Carolina PanthersWeek one of pro football wagering was not a good week for the Carolina Panthers. Nor was week two, or three or…well the whole first month of the football wagering season was basically a waste for the Panthers.

Jake Delhomme looked like Little Orphan Annie in the pocket and the defense has more holes than Swiss Cheese.  But that was then and this is now.  And right now the Panthers are one of the hottest pro football wagering teams in the NFL. Read more…

Denver BroncosAfter dropping two straight games to two very good AFC North football wagering teams the media and the rest of the world is ready to write the 2009 Denver Bronco’s obituary: a pretty good football wagering team that got off to a very good start but has now been revealed as a sham.

While two losses hardly ruins a season and at 6-2 Denver is still in first place in the AFC West, one of the easiest divisions in football, and on track for the post season.  Still there is reason for concern in the Mile High City. Read more…

What’s going on in New York

November 9th, 2009 by Michael Parker 1 comment

New York GiantsIt’s a good thing New Yorkers have the Yankees because the football wagering landscape in the Big Apple is looking awfully sparse. After terrific starts to the season, Giants and Jets fans alike have seen their respective seasons crumble.

At least they can take solace in the fact that Yanks are champs again, that is unless they’re Mets fans. The Giants came storming out of the blocks and ran up a 5-0 record while the Jets were also hot out of the gate winning their first three football wagering matchups in impressive fashion. Read more…
