Pro Football Wagering

Nobody thought the Pittsburgh Steelers would go undefeated while defending their football wagering Super Bowl title. But that the team’s losses would come against bottom feeders like the Chiefs, Bears and Raiders is something that not even Nostradamus could have predicted. Is not a really.

After dropping four straight football wagering matchups the defending champs have not only shocked the pro football wagering world, but they have left themselves no room for error in their quest to defend their title.

There is still a good chance that ten wins will be good enough to nab a wild card bid in the AFC. If that’s the case than the 6-6 Steelers still have a mathematical chance of getting into the bet on football post season, but not a great one.

There are still a handful of teams knotted up at 6-6 and two teams (Broncos 8-4, Jags 7-5) with better records that are currently holding down the wild card berths. Granted, the Steelers have been hit with injuries, but what team hasn’t?

And all of the key players were healthy, except for Troy Polamalu, were present in the horrific loss to the Raiders –at home no less- in week 13.  The defense is giving up too many big plays down field late in games and the offense is too inconsistent.

This team must improve to even have a chance to play in the post season for the NFL wagering. Right now the Steelers have to finish 4-0 just and hope that other teams stumble just to have a chance to get into the playoffs.

And even if the team gets in, it’s got to step up it up a notch or it could be a humiliating post season for Blitzburgh.
