Cardinals want to make it to the Superbowl

Arizona CardinalsThe cardinal is a migratory bird that makes seasonal voyages over and over again throughout its life. In football wagering, the Arizona Cardinals have been for of their existence an awful team.

But with an impressive showing in the football wagering season October and November this team just might be making a habit out of its Super Bowl migration if it keeps up its winning ways in pro football wagering.

Aside from a lapse at home against the red hot Titans (and without starting QB Kurt Warner mind you) this team has been very impressive in the football betting odds over the past two months.

After getting off to a slow start to the 2009 football betting season this team has taken firm control of the NFC West and at 8-4 has one of the best records in the NFL.

Even those bet on football fans that expect the perennial losing ways to reemerge in the desert have to admit that the team’s week 13 dismantling of the powerhouse Vikings was highly impressive.

Warner’s health is paramount to this team’s success as his replacement Matt Lienart is not up to the task of leading this team in the post season.

The team’s run defense is stout the offense is a force and its perennial weaknesses (running the ball and pass coverage) have been addressed and are slightly improved.

While all the Superbowl talk in the NFC right now tends to focus on the Saints and Vikings, it very well could be the Cards migrating back to the big game in Miami in February.
