AFC North in pretty bad shape
Anytime an entire division goes winless during a football betting weekend is cause for pause in most cases. With four teams playing the chances of all them losing, especially from a very competitive division like the AFC North, are generally pretty slim.
But the fact that the AFC North teams lost to some of the worst NFL wagering teams on the planet has to be unsettling.
The football wagering division leading Cincinnati Bengals, coming off a major win on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers took to the road once more in week 11 and lost…to the Raiders! That’s right.
The Raiders with new QB Bruce Gradkowski at the helm, a player that hasn’t thrown a TD pass in three years, led Oakland to a last second football wagering win.
But that might not have been the most painful pro football wagering upset of the week; that probably happened to the Steelers who were knocked off at Arrowhead by a hapless Chiefs’ squad.
The only team that could be considered worse than either the Chiefs or Raiders is probably the Detroit Lions. You guessed it. Even Detroit got into the act and beat up on the Cleveland Browns for yet another AFC North loss to a rotten team.
But the Browns are by all accounts the worst team in the NFL right now and anytime the team losses in pro football wagering it’s hardly a surprise.
The Ravens were the only AFC North team to emerge from week 11 with a bit of dignity giving the undefeated Colts (10-0) all they could handle in the NFL wagering contest losing 17-15.
AFC North teams need to do some seriously soul searching after an embarrassing display of football.
